Before you decide that
ExiteCMS is for you, please have a look at the system requirements, the feature list of the core components, and the list of optional modules and plugins. Once you've made your decision, it is important to know where you can go with your questions.
Installation
So, you've decided to have a go and install
ExiteCMS? Good plan! These are the important links related to installation, setup procedure, and upgrades to newer versions.
Configuration
After the setup procedure is completed, you can use your favorite browser and surf to the URL that hosts your
ExiteCMS installation.
Log in using the username and password of the webmaster, which you have supplied in the setup procedure. In the webmasters user menu, you will see an extra section appear, entitled "CMS Administration". Click on the "
Website Configuration" link to start customizing
ExiteCMS.
CMS Administration
Webmasters and users with administrative rights will see one or more extra menu options in their user menu, under the heading "CMS Administration". Which options appear depend on the rights that have been assigned to the user. If none of the administrative functions in a menu is accessable, the menu won't show.
